2025 HOSA Regionals

70 SCA students competed at the 2025 HOSA Regionals at Troy High School, and over half earned top-five finishes to advance to HOSA States! Congratulations to our medalists and finalists for their incredible achievements.

SCA Students Excel at 2025 HOSA Regionals

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, 70 of our talented young ladies represented St. Catherine of Siena Academy at Region 9 HOSA Competition at Troy High School. This qualifying event for HOSA States (April 15–18, 2026) was one of the most competitive yet, with only the top five in each event advancing to States.

Our students excelled, with 35 placing in the top five—an amazing accomplishment under this year’s more restrictive rules.

Gold Medalists:

  • Community Awareness: Elinor Jwaydah, Charlize Sitto
  • Healthcare Administration: Jillian Lassey
  • Occupational Therapy: Bryn Knysz

Silver Medalists:

  • HOSA Bowl: Neha Jose, Maryann Bashi, Elise Baron, Genevieve Baron
  • Dental Science: Lourdes Battah
  • Pharmacy Science: Lourd Akrawi
  • Home Health Aide: Angelica Valenton
  • Clinical Specialty: Katherine George
  • Occupational Therapy: Ariela Duhani
  • Sports Medicine: Amritha Sekar

Bronze Medalists:
