Summer Camps

Rising 1st–3rd Graders – Explore clay, paper mâché, tie-dye, paint, and drawing. Learn about different artists and create 3D and 2D art inspired by their styles. New projects for 2025! The last 30 minutes of the final day will feature a student art show for friends and family.

Rising 4th–7th Graders – Similar to the younger session, with more advanced techniques and projects. The last 30 minutes of the final day will feature a student art show for friends and family.

Rising 8th–9th Graders – Focus on altered books and printmaking. Explore a variety of techniques, including bookbinding and creative ways to make paper. Students will create an altered sketchbook to take home.

Rising 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders, join us for SCA’s Summer Baking Camp with Pastry Chef Mica, SCA ‘15!

Over two days, campers will bake delicious cookies and eclairs from scratch, make frosting, and decorate cakes like a pro.

Best of all, they’ll get to take home their sweet creations each day!

Rising 3rd–8th Graders – Join SCA's varsity basketball coaches and players for a fun and exciting three-day camp! Campers will work on individual skills like ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and screening, and practice those skills in scrimmage games. A positive, fun environment will ensure a great experience for all!

SCA Basketball Titles: CHSL Division Champs – 2014, 2015, 2023, 2025; District Champs – 2018

Rising 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders, explore versatile cooking techniques using ground beef, roast chicken, and leftovers. Learn to roast, bake, fry, sauté, and prepare salads and soups. The camp will cover menu planning, recipe reading, and knife skills. Students can enjoy a tasting everyday or choose to take it with them and share it at home!

Rising 5th–9th Graders – Open to boys and girls.

Spend time on stage learning about drama! Work with SCA Drama students and their director, Mrs. Kara, through drama games, script reading, singing, and dance lessons. The camp will culminate in a "live theater" presentation for parents.

Bring lunch and a water bottle each day. Dress in comfortable clothing.

Running Camp (4 Days) - July 15–18, 8:30 AM-11:00 AM (Rising 3rd-8th Graders)

Led by SCA alum Bridget Dulzo (‘15), this camp is all about building confidence, strength, and a love for running! Whether your daughter is new to the sport or looking to improve, she’ll learn techniques, set goals, and have fun alongside fellow runners.

Rising 5th–9th Graders, join current SCA Robotics students for three days of science discovery! Participate in science Olympics, building challenges, and robot design and testing. No experience needed—just enthusiasm!

Rising 8th and 9th graders are invited back on Tuesday evening for an exciting event with the Constellation team.

Rising 7th–9th Graders – A great opportunity for middle school athletes to develop their skills and see what it takes to play at the high school level. The camp will cover dribbling, positive first touch, juggling, using both feet, and playing multiple positions. On the final day of camp, campers are invited to stay and watch a semi-professional match between back-to-back champions Corktown Women’s Football Club and the visiting Midland Soccer Club. Kickoff is at 6pm. No admission fee for campers and their families! Campers are invited to sit on the bench with the Corktown players and St. Catherine Academy coach Aaron Roy.

Rising 5th–8th Graders – Perfect for players of all skill levels. The camp offers expert coaching, skill-building drills, and friendly competition. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, this camp will help you improve your game.

SCA Softball Titles: CHSL Division Champs – 2014; District Champs – 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2023, 2024 Cost: $100 (includes T-shirt)

Rising 6th–9th Graders – A 3-day training program led by experienced coaches. Participants will engage in skill-focused drills, scrimmages, and teamwork exercises to improve their game. The camp will focus on sportsmanship, communication, and player development.
