Alliance Catholic Credit Union Scholarship Contest – Live It. Show It. Share It.

For the tenth year, Alliance Catholic Credit Union is sponsoring the Live It. Show It. Share It. Scholarship Contest — an inspiring opportunity for students in grades 8–11 who plan to attend a Catholic high school next year.

This year’s contest honors the Jubilee Year theme, “Pilgrims of Hope.” Participants are invited to visit one of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s twelve local pilgrimage sites, submit a photo from their visit, and complete one of the following ACTION activities:

• Works of Devotion
• Works of Mercy
• Works of Penance

Students will then write a short reflection explaining:

• Why they chose that site and activity,
• What they learned from the experience, and
• A pilgrimage site anywhere in the world they hope to visit someday — and why.

A complete description of the Scholarship Contest can be found on the Alliance Catholic Foundation site. Students must create a My Kaleidoscope account to submit their entries.

Ten finalists will be selected and invited to participate in a short interview with a panel of representatives from Alliance Catholic Credit Union, the Archdiocese of Detroit, and other Catholic organizations. The interviews will take place on Friday, January 16, 2026.

From those finalists, the following awards will be given:

• Two (2) scholarships of $4,000
• Two (2) scholarships of $3,000
• Three (3) scholarships of $2,000
• Three (3) scholarships of $1,000

Finalists will be notified in early January, and winners will be announced during Catholic Schools Week at the end of January.

This is a wonderful opportunity — and something all of our students can easily accomplish! We hope to see many of our girls apply and share how they are living, showing, and sharing their faith in this Jubilee Year.
